\"Kemnal
Few changes can be seen since 1959, except for more houses to the north east of
the by-pass, and the creation of a dog racing track below Partridge Shaw. However
Kemnal Manor was now in ruins, following a fire in 1964, and the estate was
overgrown and unmanaged. Kemnal Avenue Lodge is still shown here, but was
demolished around this time.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The dramatic changes continued over the next 15 years:
\u2022 Inglewood flats have been built, and Inglewood Cottage replaced the stables,
\u2022 Kemnal Warren flats have been built, and Kemnal Lodge built,
\u2022 Mulbarton Court flats have been built, and Mulbarton Cottage has been extended,
\u2022 Holly Bowers has gone and Mapledene flats built,
\u2022 Dickens Drive, Dorrit Way, Pickwick Way and Copperfield Way have been built,
\u2022 Kemnal Wood has gone without trace,
\u2022 Willett House has been built in Selwood\u2019s garden,
\u2022 The Coach House has acquired land from Woodlands,
\u2022 Woodlands has gone, and Roehampton Drive and Liskeard Close built over its
remaining grounds.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
